The "Rivers of the West" holster series. Rivers run through the history of the West like a torrential downpour. The Gila, Humboldt and Platte Rivers marked major cattle routes to gold mines and the rich and prosperous lands farther west. Not only are these proud names of mighty rivers, they are brands of our hand-stitched leather revolver holsters and western leather holsters. We also pride ourselves on the rugged quality and smell of handcrafted western gun holsters and western tooled holsters, as well as all our Old West holsters and cowboy action holsters.
From such areas come the names for my holsters, as does the tradition of pride in hand crafted leather goods. All of my holsters and belts are made from 10-11 oz. oak tanned cowhide, saddle stitched with waxed linen or nylon thread, and individually tooled and dyed. All holsters have welts at the trigger guard. Round toed models also have welts at the toe. Square toed models have sewn in teardrop shaped plugs. Whether you carry a handgun for cowboy action shooting, hunting, or security, I know you will find my holsters rugged, functional and historically correct.
While the Rivers of the West series of holsters are designed for Colt Army and Ruger Vaquero revolvers, with slight modifications they can be designed to fit most single action cartridge and percussion revolvers. Let me know your needs.
